Late SAT Registration: What You Need to Know

If you’ve missed the regular SAT registration deadline, there's still a chance to sign up during the late registration period. This guide explains the late registration process, associated fees, and the steps you need to take to secure your test date.

Late registration is an extended period following the regular deadline when you can still sign up for the SAT. This window usually lasts a few days after the regular deadline, allowing students who missed the original cut-off to register for the test.

Late registration comes with an additional fee on top of the standard SAT registration fee. Here’s what you need to know:

• Late Registration Fee: $34
• Total Cost for Late Registration: $102

Students who are eligible for fee waivers do not have to pay the late registration fee.
